special welcome // Hello

We extend a special welcome here if you're just browsing, just woke up or just got out of jail. We extend a special welcome to those who are over 60 but not grown up yet and to teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, Blue Devils, Tar Heels, Wolfpack, starving Artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, vegetarians and junk food eaters. We welcome those who are in recovery or are still addicted. We welcome you if you're having problems, feeling down, or if you don't like "organized religion"; we've been there too. 

We extend a special welcome to those who are short, tall, skinny-as-a-rail or could afford to lose a few pounds. We welcome you if you sing like Sinatra or can't carry a tune in a bucket. We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, filthy rich, dirt poor, red, yellow, black, white or any combination of the above. 

We offer a special welcome to those who work too hard, don't work, can't spell, or your here because grandma is in town and she wanted to go to church. We welcome those who are inked, pierced or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use prayer right now, had religion shoved down their throat as a kid, or got lost and ended up here by mistake. We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, bleeding hearts, and you!

    At RWC, you'll meet people of all ages and backgrounds. We want you to feel right at home, so whether you've been in church your whole life or you're new to this whole thing, there is a place for you in our family. We want you to be comfortable - if that's in shorts or a suit, come join us just as you are!

  • MUSIC & MESSAGE

    Every Sunday morning at our 10:30am service, you'll get a chance to participate in worship led by a praise team quartet, choir and band. Every week you'll get to hear a message from one of our pastors. Our sunday morning service lasts about an hour. Our Sunday evening services are stripped down for a more traditional setting starting at 6:30pm

  • what about my kids?

    God's Kids is the children's ministry for you! Every Sunday kids children 2 years old through 5th grade can join in the fun environment made for them. Our volunteers are ready to play, love on, and teach your child about Jesus in a way they can understand! Arrive early to meet our teachers and other parents. 

    If you're child is under 2 years old we also have nursery available staffed by our amazing volunteers every week. Come early and meet the team!
